Maldives government bans Israeli citizens from entering the country

The Maldives Minister of Homeland Security Ali Ihusan said on the 2nd that the government has decided to ban Israeli citizens from entering the country. Ihusan said at a press conference that day that the government held a cabinet meeting to make this decision and set up a special committee to speed up the process of amending the law. In addition, the cabinet meeting also decided to support Palestine by appointing a presidential envoy for Palestinian affairs, holding fundraising activities, and holding national rallies.
